Who we are
ShroomVerse ("the app", "the game") is published by Volga Karakus. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at volgacan+shroomverse@gmail.com.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing that identifies you. The app has no sign-up, no login and no user profile. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or microphone or camera access.
Your game progress — colonies, resources, research and settings — is written to a save file in the app's own private storage on your device. We cannot read it, and it is removed when you uninstall the app. It may be included in your device's own backup if you have that switched on, which is between you, your device and your backup provider.
What third-party services collect
The app includes software from the companies below. They collect data directly, under their own privacy policies, and we do not receive any of it in a form that identifies you individually.
| Service | Why it is there | Typically collects |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Shows the optional rewarded video ads you choose to watch in exchange for in-game rewards | Advertising identifier, device model and operating system, coarse region, IP address, and how you interacted with an ad |
| Apple App Store / Google Play Billing | Processes optional in-app purchases | Purchase and order records. Apple or Google is the seller of record — we never see or handle your payment card details |
| Unity In-App Purchasing (Unity Technologies) | Connects the game to whichever store the app was installed from | Purchase events, transaction identifiers, and basic device and diagnostic information needed to complete a purchase |
| Google Firebase Crashlytics | Reports crashes so they can be found and fixed | Crash stack traces, device model, operating system version, app version, and a randomly generated installation identifier. It is not linked to your name or account |
Their policies: Google · Unity. Google also describes how it uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Advertising identifier
Advertising in the app relies on your device's resettable advertising ID. This is not your name and is not tied to your Google account, and you are in control of it:
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads, where you can delete or reset the advertising ID and opt out of personalised ads.
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising. An app may only use the identifier for tracking after asking your permission; ShroomVerse does not ask, so its ads are served without it.
If you are in a region covered by GDPR or similar rules, you will be shown a consent form the first time the app requests an ad, and you can change that choice later from the app's settings.
Notifications
The app can send you notifications — for example that an attack is inbound, or that a research is ready to start. It asks your permission first, and you may refuse or turn them off later in your device settings without losing any other functionality. Notifications are scheduled on your own device.
Children
ShroomVerse is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at volgacan+shroomverseurgent@gmail.com and we will act on it.
Your rights and privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data held about you, to object to processing, or to withdraw consent.
Because we hold no personal data ourselves, the fastest routes are usually direct: uninstalling the app removes the local save, and resetting your advertising ID breaks the link to previously collected advertising data. For data held by Google or Unity, use the controls in their policies linked above. You may also write to us and we will help where we can.
Data retention and transfers
We retain nothing, because we collect nothing directly. Data held by the third parties above is retained under their own policies, and those companies operate globally, so information may be processed in countries other than your own — including the United States — under the safeguards described in their policies.
Security
Purchases are handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play, so payment details never reach the app. Your save data stays in the app's private storage on your device, protected by your device's own security.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the app changes what it collects — for example if online multiplayer with real accounts is added in a future version. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
